Executive Search Consultant – Private Equity
Our client was founded in 2020 by a female and male Founder who have worked for some of the world’s leading recruitment and search agencies including Meet, TalentMark and La Fosse.
Their HQ is in London, but they offer a truly flexible approach. Their London team are WFO 2-3 days per week, and the rest of their team are remote workers across locations such as Bristol, Newcastle, Switzerland, Prague and Bali! They offer a mature environment and are driven by results and relationships, not KPIs.
Although a small team, they are impactful. In 2024 they generated £2.3m and doubled headcount. All of the recruitment they do is exclusive with 80% of work being retained, and their focus is working with PE/VC backed start-ups and investors, and supporting their growth from inception, placing professionals from top to bottom (e.g. C-Suite, then growing their teams from Director to Senior level below them). Currently 40% of their work is in the UK, 40% Europe, and 20% US, with their fee sizes ranging from £10k-£80k, and their average fee being £40k.
Some of their clients include SV Health Investors and Optimus Ventures who are a £5BN Investor Fund in the UK. The funds they work with tend to be £5m-£50m VC back businesses with 0-200 headcount.
The team ranges from experienced recruitment professionals, to ex-industry professionals who have transferred into recruitment, and junior recruiters who come from a scientific education background. They have really strong and diverse expertise as a team, and this is why they achieve high results - with all of their Consultants after year two billing circa £300k+, with their Founders leading from the front and billing £600k+ per year.
This year they are growing and looking to make some excellent new additions to their team. They are looking for experienced consultants with 1 year – 6 years of recruitment experience from a PE/VC/Start-up, and/or a Life Sciences recruitment background.
